I feel fine, why should I go to the chiropractor?
The body is constantly under physical, emotional, and chemical stress due to the world we live in today. Symptoms are typically the last thing to show up and the first to go away when experiencing a health problem. Being proactive in taking care of your body, rather than reactive, allows your body to correct any health issues before they begin to cause symptoms and affect your daily life.
What is the cost to receive care?
For new patients, the price for our new patient exam is $49. This includes your consultation, examination, and posture analysis. After your first visit Dr. Alex will review your findings and develop a customized plan for you to help relieve your symptoms and reach your health goals.
Does your office take insurance?
We do bill directly to Medicare, however for every other insurance carrier we are not in network. Though we are not in network with most insurances, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Remember our goal is to make care as affordable as possible for you!
City Chiropractic is partnered with Life University and Elite Radiology in order to provide you with high quality low cost X-rays in order for us to give you the highest quality of chiropractic care. A specialized chiropractic radiologist will read your X-rays and report the findings to Dr. Alex. Upon your first visit Dr. Alex will determine if X-rays are necessary and give you a referral if needed.
We are located inside the Geode Wellness center on South Cobb, just 3 minutes south from the Kroger on South Cobb. We are in suite 206. When you walk into Geode Wellness, proceed to the second floor and you will find a waiting room on the first door to your left. We will be there to greet you when you arrive.
How many visits would I need before I feel better?
Every person is different and unique in their health journey. Some patients may heal quicker than others depending on a number of different factors. Once you come in to receive your spinal exam we will have a better idea of how many visits it may take in order to correct the problem that you present with. With that in mind, be assured that our goal is to get you better as quickly as possible.
I don’t want to get my neck cracked, can you still help me?
Yes! Dr. Alex is also specialized in a very light force adjustment technique. The technique is called torque release technique which uses a very small instrument that “clicks” your spine in specific areas in order to relieve your symptoms.
Is chiropractic care safe for my baby?
Yes, chiropractic care is not only safe, but is beneficial for babies! The birthing process causes a lot of stress to the mother’s body, but it also puts a significant amount of stress on the baby as well. Research shows that the majority of births result in misalignments in the cervical spine of the infant, which could result in a variety of symptoms as the baby grows and continues to develop. chiropractic is proven to be safe and effective in treating babies, allowing their body to be as healthy as possible as they grow. Some conditions that chiropractic care can help with in infants are constipation, colic, and ear infections.
I’ve had back surgery, can you still help me?
Yes! chiropractic care is proven to be safe and effective for those who have undergone back surgery after they are healed from the procedure. When someone gets spinal surgery, this results in more stress on the spine as a whole leading to further degeneration. With specific chiropractic analysis, Dr. Alex will determine which vertebrae can, and cannot be adjusted. Back surgery is necessary in some cases, but remember to be proactive with your health, not reactive, and avoid any further back surgery if possible by receiving chiropractic care.
